About us

Ljósturn was established by Jonathan Swerdlow and Kristof Erdody, and in part by Miguel Reis. Our goal was simply to create a public space that artists can use to showcase and sell their art as well as to perform. It’s that simple. We chose to establish an ehf. to maintain control and flexibility with our operations.

This means we offer a store space where we take a small commission on sales and do not charge space fees. We also invite artists of all types to perform and host events, be it music, poetry, dance, workshops, lectures, etc.

Ljósturn is a community effort. We all support each other with the goal of living and breathing art. Below are pictures of our project — more coming soon.
